This Belgian Legend who has claimed 9 world titles and 14 European titles in Snooker partners with Strachan and Aramith.

In the world of billiards, there are very few athletes who are able to excel in more than one discipline. Wendy Jans is one of them and her story inspires new generations of champions.

Born in Bree in Belgium in 1983, Wendy Jans discovered billiard thanks to her parents who acquired a snooker club when she was 10 years-old. She quickly became fascinated by the game and her dad saw the potential of her daughter.

She claimed her first Belgium Women’s National Snooker Championship title at only 14 years-old. In 2004, she won her first EBSA European Snooker Championship title. The ultimate recognition came in 2006 when she claimed her first IBSF World Women’s Snooker Championship.

In total, Wendy Jans has won 9 IBSF World Women’s Snooker Championships, 14 EBSA European Women’s Championships and 20 Belgian National Women’s titles, making her the most decorated female athlete in this discipline.

In 2024, with the development of Heyball outside of China, Wendy Jans started competing in this hybrid sport which combines Snooker, American pool and English pool skills. In May 2026, Wendy Jans was ranked No. 1 for the first time on the Women’s Joy WPA Tour thanks to her win at the African Heyball Open.
