Frédéric Caudron

Belgium

Carom 3-cushion

The Belgian Carom 3-cushion Champion who claimed in 2025 his 4th UMB World Championship partners with Iwan Simonis and Aramith.

Born in Mons in 1968, Frédéric Caudron started playing carom at the age of 8 years-old. He was going to the club with his father who was himself a good player. Frédéric quickly became hooked to Carom billiards and his father saw his son’s potential for becoming a professional player.

From the age of 14 years-old, Frédéric Caudron took weekly lessons with the internationally renowned and World Champion Emile Wafflard. He claims his first Belgium and European titles in the balkline game and decides slowly to start playing Carom 3-cushion as his main goal. Frédéric wins his first 3-cushion World Championship in 1999 after beating Dick Jaspers in the semis and Torbjörn Blomdahl during the final.

From there, Frédéric Caudron quickly gained recognition from his peers and a Legend was born. So far in his career, Frédéric claimed 22 World Cup titles, 13 World Championships, 16 European Championships and countless titles in his home country.

In 2024, Frédéric re-joins the UMB tour. This new chapter in his long career resumed successfully with a 4th UMB World Championship claimed in October 2025 in Antwerp in his home country.

We are proud to continue this 35-year-old collaboration with this sports legend who continues to inspire new generation of players.
